Retro Chicken

RetroChicken is a 2D simulation game where you play as a disgraced biologist trying to breed chickens into microraptors (or RetroChickens) to redeem your career.

Game Overview: Breed chickens, hatch eggs, and manage your growing backyard chicken pen. Balance resources, hunger, and your limited funds as you experiment with chicken genetics to create the ultimate RetroChicken. Each new generation brings you closer to your goal—or creates unexpected mutations!

How to Play

• Breed chickens by selecting two to create eggs.
• Hatch eggs in incubators and raise your chickens.
• Feed chickens to prevent them from starving.
• Sell eggs to fund your experiment and buy more incubators and feed.
• Experiment with different breeding combinations to get closer to RetroChickens!

Controls

• Left Mouse Button: Interact with chickens, eggs, incubators, and items.
• Breed: Click the arrow at the bottom of the screen to open the menu, then click on chickens to create an egg. Place the egg in an incubator to hatch it.
• Sell Eggs: After breeding, click the egg button and place the egg in the mailbox to sell.
• Buy Items: Open the menu, click on an item to buy, and place it anywhere on the map.

Objective: Breed and raise chickens to create RetroChickens by managing hunger, resources, and genetics while trying to redeem your reputation as a biologist.
